S.Maria Assunta The Church dates from the XII century, with subsequent alterations in 1339 and 1557. The interior of the church has one nave with rib vaults. The most important painting is the large canvas to the left of the presbytery which depicts a sort of votive offering, “ The Miracle of Sea” by the XVII century artist Gerolamo Forabosco, where the people saved from the waters are painted in period costume. On the first altar to the left there is the famous miraculous Crucifix, a XV century sculpture in plaster and stucco. It is effectively crowned by the XVIII century sculptural group of the Marys, St. John and Mary Magdalene.
